Range combination analysis divides the Powerball number pool (1-69) into five equal ranges: 1-14, 15-28, 29-42, 43-56, and 57-69. For each range, we identify the three most frequently drawn numbers based on historical data. The combinations below are generated by selecting one number from each range, paired with the most common Powerball numbers.
This approach ensures that each combination is spread across the full number spectrum rather than clustered in one area. While this creates well-distributed number sets, it is important to remember that every combination of five numbers has exactly the same probability of being drawn — roughly 1 in 11.2 million for the main numbers alone. Range-based selection does not improve your odds.
The historical match data shown for each combination indicates how many past drawings contained similar number groupings. These matches are retrospective observations, not predictions of future performance.
Each combination uses the top 3 most common numbers from each range (1-14, 15-28, 29-42, 43-56, 57-69) combined with top 3 Powerball numbers. Each combination contains exactly one number from each range.
